What we collect

WTF Should I Play does not collect personal data. We do not require accounts, logins, or registration. We do not use cookies for tracking.

Local storage

The "My List" feature stores your saved games in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time via the "Clear all" button or your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual users. It provides aggregate data about page views, referrers, and countries. No personal information is collected.

Spin counter

We track a global count of total spins across all users. This is a single number stored server-side — no individual user data is recorded.

Affiliate links

Game results include links to eBay. These are affiliate links through the eBay Partner Network (EPN). When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. eBay may use their own cookies and tracking — please refer to eBay's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and analytics. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

IGDB — game cover art images are loaded from IGDB's servers. IGDB Privacy Policy

Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google Privacy Policy

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Note: some game descriptions contain strong language.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
